The Parties exchanged ideas as to the current state of relations between Ukraine and the EU; the situation around fulfillment of conditions and criteria by the Ukrainian Party necessary for signing of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and the status of fulfillment of the first phase of the EU-Ukraine Visa Liberalization Action Plan. Particularly, adoption of the Law “On Ratification of the EU-Ukraine Agreement on amendments to the Visa Facilitation Agreement between Ukraine and the EU”, as well as ratification of this Agreement by the European Parliament was discussed.
Participants of the meeting congratulated H.Nemyria with formation of the Ukrainian part of the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Committee and expressed the general consensus in regard to the necessity of intensifying contacts at the parliamentary level in order to mutually exchange information in regard to the state of European integration of Ukraine.
